Midwife

About Me

I Nesrin Emurlai am a midwifery graduate from the International Balkan University, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2024. Throughout my academic education, I built a strong foundation in maternal health, women's well-being, and evidence-based clinical care. My professional development was shaped through comprehensive clinical training in the delivery room, the obstetrics and gynecology department, and neonatal care units, where I gained substantial hands-on experience in various stages of maternal and newborn care. I gained these extensive clinical experiences through internships at "ACIBADEM - SISTINA" Hospital and "Mother Teresa" Special Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics. During my clinical rotations I strengthened my ability to provide safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care to mothers, newborns, and families. Working in diverse clinical settings also enhanced my adaptability, communication skills, and capacity to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare team. My main areas of professional interests include postpartum psychology, pregnancy monitoring, maternal-infant health, and neonatal care. I am particularly dedicated to support mothers during the postpartum period, recognizing the importance of psychological well-being, early intervention, and holistic approaches to maternal care. With this motivation I aim to pursue a Master's degree in maternal and neonatal care. with the long-term goal of contributing to high-quality, research -based, and patient-centered healthcare practices. I speak Turkish, English, and Albanian, and I consider multilingual communication an essential component of inclusive and high-quality maternal and newborn care. My language skills enable me to connect with culturally diverse patient populations and contribute effectively within international healthcare environments. Guided by empathy, professional responsibility, and a dedication to lifelong learning, I aim to continue developing my expertise and to contribute meaningfully to improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes at both national and international levels.
